Cake, Cake, Cake!

In a doodle moment, I came up with this small design of a cake that shows my girly, creative side and also has a twist of the usual 'bride and groom' to suit us more.
The bottom layer would be a rainbow layer cake of: Victoria Sponge, Chocolate and Victoria cake.
The Middle layer would be Victoria sponge and the very top to be Strawberry Cake.
mmhmmmm.
The Flower design could be a faux canopy of flowers and leaves then spear on the ends, rolled up icing to create coloured edible buds.
The main top rose would have to be deep red and edible.
The bear and the panther well that idea is to be worked on, but basically I wanted to create the effect of the bear and panther standing under a waterfall canopy of roses.

Someone else's truly beautiful wedding

Now I am not one for usually re-posting other people's pictures but how can you not on this
beautiful wedding!
 YOU MUST TAKE A LOOK
Honestly the fairytale idea is a dream of mine, especially the under the tree's for me is a must and if I had guests coming to ours then the idea of them wearing pretty fairytale film scenes outfits suits me fine. The strange part about this is Sean & Alexandra's wedding is based slightly on 'lord of the rings'.
My other half absolutely loves 'lord of the rings' and he is also a slight mystical fantasist, so I wonder if we ever had the money would he ever be tempted to indulge in this fantasy.
Obviously nothing ever could compare to the lavish wedding but I would be perfectly happy with undercover tree's, fairy lights, tea lights, flowers and soft grass with him waiting for me under a canopy.
eek day dream mode for me today I think?

Okay, So there's the traditonal wedding band, to me they seem way too over-used, I want something that will mark how unique we are. Then there's my other half's ideas on a wedding ring, given the small (and I mean small talks) we have had on the issue of wedding rings. I am pretty sure he is aiming at the ring style very similar to my engagement ring, very un-traditional, gem stones and way too big to have both my wedding ring and engagement ring on at the same time.
Which is what I personally want, I knew I have ever since I read that people wear one ring for engagement, one for marriage and one for first child. I thought it was such a sweet, loving symbol I fell for it instantly but never seen anyone actually do it, until I worked with an italian family, the wife came and she had all three on, on the wedding finger, none we're fancy or 'eye-grabbing' but it was a symbol. A symbol that I fell in love with and I would like very much to use myself.

These two are personally the designs I have in mind for my wedding
ring, simple, beautiful, slighly traditonal but with a slight personal twist.
My Engagement ring can fit above the wedding 'v' ring. Obviously as my
engagement ring is gold, I shall have to have a gold wedding ring, but the
design above is very beautiful that I think I could live with that. aha

These images slightly represents the idea I have in my head of a nice warm sit down
meal with family and friends that came to the wedding, in a small
restaurant.
Not one reserved for only us, just a corner at the back or a nice view would be better.
I would like it to be very natural and calm looking with soft pastel colours and simple design.
My main colours would be cream and red I would like simple thick red candles
to be placed as decoration on the table and no set menu just everyone can order what
they like off the pre-existing menu (obviously making sure serve veggetarian for me!).
Plants & tree's are a must, perferably planted natural growing ones but
if push comes to shove, decorative one would have to be placed.
With low soft lighting that makes the evening feel warmer and more romantic.
(well in my opinion)

Flowers & Colour

So I know it would be almost impossible to have dried flowers as wedding flowers and
A tad Weird (gloomy). But I adore natural dried flowers the colour on these I love
I do not want a complete traditonal wedding, for One.
Shocking a girl actually did not want a wedding, I didn't but now I want His name.
I am going to go on the hunt for flowers, this colour with perhaps cream?
Dried would be ideal for me but why I could not answer, they seem Perfect.

Evening/ first Honeymoon night Dress Ideas

So as I will not be actually saying what my ideal wedding dress would be to anyone, I know for sure I want a cute, sexy but soft girlie lace dress for the evening/ first honeymoon night.
So here is some little examples of what I like, but none are exactly what I have in mind, but
I actually do not know, what I have in mind but I know when I see it.
It will be the one and I will post it for you.

Un-traditional beautiful Engagement Ring

The Engagement

On The 25th of December 2012,
Yes Christmas day the thing I had secretly been hoping (whispering to him and fingertip drawing on him, without him actually hearing or knowing what I was doing) for and dreaming about, happened.
It went something like this;
I gave him his big box filled with random presents of all different shapes and sizes, then it was time for mine. We were both sat on the bed which he had so softly hung mistletoe (one fake under the door cause it went ew) and one real over the bed. I opened my first two presents then he picked up a box, shuffled a bit further unknowing to me under the mistletoe. He passed me the little box and laughed to himself as his practical joke not only was it covered in wrapping paper it practically had a roll of sellotape on it. It took me awhile to get through! but when I did I slowly opened it, my heart practically about to flop on the floor like a fish as I saw a beautiful rare blue tanzanite and 6 blue diamond ring sat.
I really did not have a clue what my face must of looked like but I looked up at his eyes and he asked those three little words I wanted to hear.
